To start off Rosco Bosco has picked up 10 bonus points from the FA Cup Final which before play put Rosco Bosco onto 46 points, which was still in the bottom 3 but it dropped his FA Cup Final opponent LurkR into the automatic 2 relegation spots
The R's then got a well deserved 1-0 victory against Swansea which was predicted superbly by minxymartin. woodork was the only other player to predict a QPR win.
Perhaps surprisingly only 2 players had Dykes as first scorer; well done to surrey chad and kingfisher!
Sheffield Wednesday won 1-0 which gave 3 points to tomcat75, CutePR, jalfrezi and ashqpr
The top scorer was surrey chad with 7 points which moves surrey chad from 2nd bottom of Division 2 up to 1 point off the play off places! kingfisher got 6 to also move out of the bottom 3, with myself and stoatey dropping in.
In the automatic promotion fight woodork is now top as previous leader e17hoop failed to score. woodork spent the whole of Phase 2 at the very bottom but has turned things around superbly despite his -6 adjustment! minxymartin's 6 points move him up from 5th to 3rd just a point behind e17hoop.
In the top division nobody scored more than 3. But one of those who did was leader CutePR who just keeps picking up points and is now 13 points clear at the top as the chasing duo of onenightfever and MCM Hoop both failed to score. Not only is CutePR heading for a well deserved title but she has scored for 18 games in a row which is only 1 behind the record for continuous scoring in a single season of 19 games and only 5 behind e17hoops record of 23 games in the points which was spread across 2 seasons. It is not impossible for CutePR to be caught with just 3 games left, but it will take some doing now.
It will also take some doing for qprallan to survive. He needs 15 points (when you take goal difference into account) just to make the relegation play off. Rosco Bosco's cup win means that Ghost and ranger-boy are now only 1 point clear of the relegation play off place, whilst ashqpr and MaxQPR could easily still find themselves either in trouble or challenging for the medal places depending how things go!
That was the final midweek round of the season with just 3 weekend matches left to complete!
