thinking about it isnt it that keeper we bought recent will have to check the teams again cant think i saw Lumley on the bench now
Was Lumley injured?
strange to see Thomas in the team again weve all seen him a few times now and its time we saw Albert in a more attacking role for the whole 90 minutes
and for the love of jesus MW please stop playing kakee poo poo at right wing back what part of hes just a body on a football pitch dont you understand we need 11 players each week to give ourselves more of a chance to win games
my team next 3-5-1-1
Lumley Dickie De Wijs Barbet Kane Field Johansen Chair Wallace Adomah Dykes
i think hes the keeper we bought from Gillingham for 500k which made no sense in January as we were all wanting a left back before we knew that Lee Wallace could play

He is indeed! Born in Medway, he is aged 19, right-footed and 1.93m tall. Currently our U23s goalie I believe. None of what I have said however explains why Lumley was not on the bench of course @tomcat75. I would have thought Joe was far too professional to get narked at being (surprisingly) dropped - it must be an injury! Out of interest, today Burnley had TWO goalies on the subs bench and won 4-1 against Wolves, but that may have been because Dyche had not got enough squad players otherwise to fill the bench - he certainly did not sub Pope!!
Lumley definitely voiced his disapproval at being dropped and therefore wasn't included in the squad at all.
Warburton alludes to it after 2:20 in the interview below. "We had words yesterday" "that was my decision"
You can see in the manner that he says it that it was a issue he didn't want to discuss more
Yes I read that after I posted! I do understand Joe's point of view and do wonder what he has to do to get precedence over someone who must be considered fragile at least still... Warburton's reaction seems to me to be the same as his obvious distaste of Kane's boasting - naughty step for you son! The manager should not only be in charge (after all he will be the one who will be really carrying the can if the performances are bad) but he should also be seen to be in charge. Having said all that, I would have expected one of the coaches to talk to Joe, get him to calm down; and then talk to the manager quietly about his desire to play, but willingness to support the team. At that point Warburton could welcome him back with open arms.
