Watch this Youth team centre half for QPR against Arsenal

Good find, and he looks like a beast in that first video

His youtube channel says this in the "about" section:



Quite a strange thing to openly put about Man United when playing for QPR.

He uploaded a video in 2020 saying that in 10 years he'll be 22. So he must only be 13!!

The problem is he was that good against Arsenal they will have had people trying to sign him straight away and until these kids are 17 we can't tie them down and will get little (if any) compensation.

He sounds like he has big dreams so unfortunately if Arsenal come calling he'll be out the door.

Our only hope is that he's seen how the likes of Eze and Chair have progressed at QPR and how they actually get to play in the first team, and that he sticks with us.

It will certainly be interesting to see his development; hopefully with QPR

So many thoughts about this:

It's not unusual to see a 'big' kid in a team of U12/13/14. Their hormones all spark at different times and a kid who's gone through puberty early will stand out. I remember my youngest playing against someone similar about 10 years ago...he was a monster. 2 years later all the kids had caught up and he'd plateaued. Size is no guarantee of talent.

He's got a decent football brain. More important than what he does with the ball is his position when he doesn't have it - that's where you can really see how good he is.

He had to make a real journey to get to the Arsenal complex...it's miles from the nearest tube and to do it alone on a tube and buses shows great maturity - it's a few minutes from my house.

I go past that complex a lot and you know when the kids are playing - there are lines of 4x4 and SUV outside. Arsenal pay a LOT for kids to join them and make sure they can get to the ground by buying the parents cars and making sure they're really well looked after. If this fella - Alpha - can avoid having his head turned there's no reason he'd go to Arsenal. Look at the Arsenal team and they're all small - they don't go for big players.

The best things about the video for me were the fact they want the youth teams to play out from the back which is really encouraging, but more importantly the result doesn't matter. Yeah we lost but he was more concerned about the performance and how they played...that's REALLY important at that age.
