Very, very difficult to pick just one if you have an eclectic taste in music, so here is a small list:
Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel. I had just had my first job interview at the newly built Brunel University and was walking up past the student accommodation blocks as this belted out from multiple buildings! It still works for me.
Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald (although it was also performed by an opera trained friend of mine called Zeljka Pulpa, who took up my suggestion to record it and her version literally sent the hairs up on my neck). This is a song from the South that oozes good weather!
Nessun Dorma by the Three Tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo & Carreras) is just beautiful. When I was working in Barcelona our client sponsored a street performance and we got in for free to hear local-boy-done-good, Jose Carreras perform along with a renown local soprano - including Nessun Dorma!
