Norwich have sacked Wagner after losing in the play offs.
I sort of understand that anger at their poor performance in the Play Offs, but Wagner GOT them there in the first place - and who will be a better replacement!?

Fans can be quite fickle and I think the Canary fans were qestioning his very negative tactis that saw them lose 29 points from winning positions. Norwich led in 33 games but ended up drawing 7 of them and losing 5 of them which probably meant that they may have got rid of Wagner even if he'd got them to the Premier League!
As Bananarama and Fun Boy Three said, "t's not what you do its the way that you do it"
Oxford promoted to the championship today I thought Bolton would win the play off final personally First time in 25 years for Oxford coming up to our level too
Stoke have signed Rotherham goalie Viktor Johansson for £1m. That seems a very good deal to me.
Agree, seemed an excellent keeper.
Not sure he's too good with the ball at his feet so was never likely to come to QPR.
Aside from that how do Stoke still attract so many managers and players. They've finished around 17th for 5 years in a row but still seem to be able to draw people in!

I think they pay some very decent salaries to both their managers and their players. Being backed by the Coates family who own Bet365 and who funded the building of the Brittania Stadium probably also helps.
Stoke have always been well supported but their stadium allows them to have crowds that are c.50% bigger than us which is significant attendance income from every home game.
It's probably sacrilege to say this but until we can move to a more modern stadium that can be utilised for both football and other types of entertainment we will fall further behind the income streams of other clubs. Even teams like Plymouth who have a similar capacity to LR utilise their ground in the summer months with various music concerts (Take That, Rod Stewart etc., ).
Disappointed Bolton didn't make it, would have been a match closer to me.
Big step up for Oxford. Hopefully we don't lose there 5-0 again next season.
There is a disproportionate number of Northern clubs usually in the Championship, so I welcome the opportunity to travel to Oxford and Portsmouth this season! I know you are a long way from Loftus Road NWH, but got to be selfish on this one!! 😉
