Seems a truly bizarre decision from Plymouth.

Rooney has done nothing to suggest he's good enough to manage at this level.

He always comes across so dull and boring, I just don't see how he energises a dressing room.

He apparently wowed the Board with his knowledge, poise and articulation - I kid you not! I am going to have the Argyle down as the first Championship side to part company with their manager....

Looks like the Premier League is using its muscle to change the rules of the Carabo Cup. According to The Telegraph, the EFL have been forced to adopt a "seeding mechanism" to ease the fixture pile-up next season.

The change will prevent Premiership clubs playing in the Champions League and Europa League from meeting when they enter the competition.

How does that ease fixture congestion? It just means that they get an easier draw and can play their reserves.

Yes how on earth does that ease congestion, totally agree with Ghost. It's nonsense.

If anything if they can't draw each other they are more likely to have more fixtures as they will all make it through. At least if they play against each other one goes out.
