Does Paul Hart really feature in this   :-)

I found this hard as I wasnt around for the Alec Stock era so know little about it, I went for Venables as I remember the football we played, the excitement of being part of this great era and some of the great players we had at that time.

I really though hard about GiGi di Canio as he did something special, he brought us back from near non footballing existence and we played some beautiful football under him but so many last minute goals, I would have loved to see where he would have taken him but that bloody mugger pretty much ended his time here.

Difficult as you say but Alec Stock was the man that transformed us from a club who had been in Division 3 for ever into one that has been Division1/2 pretty much ever since. He also won the League Cup.
Had the El Tel team won at Wembley instead of losing to Spurs, I might have voted for him.
