I was very interested to read that our old Chief Executive Phillip Beard was fronting up a £400 million bid for West Ham.
The group that Beard represents is PAI Capital and it made me wonder whether he is only bidding for the Hammers to spite his old boss, Tony Fernandes. Fernandes of course is a life long Hammers fan who failed with his bid to purchase them before buying us. In addition to buying us he also employed and subsequently got rid of Mr Beard.
It seems that the West Ham fans are split on whether they want the PAI bid to succeed and some have even suggested that PAI and Tony Fernandes have links.
To suggest that Tony is part of another bid to buy his beloved West Ham is a bit mischevious, isn't it?

Do have to wonder how this will progress. They are certainly not giving up! From a club perspective I am delighted we have Lee Hoos though!!
