So if you wanted to go you could just try saying you would like to put your name forward to attend the QPR Bond event. They can just ignore you if you aren't important enough
It took some doing but I have committed funds to the bond.
Likewise, it was a bit of a faff and I'm still not sure it has gone through. Set up the ISA but not showing the funds I transferred to it yet. It is complicated I have to say. I've now had additional emails asking for 'proof of wealth' too.

I had that email too but just sent over a couple of pays slips and a tax return. i full expect a personal phone call from Lee Hoos thanking me for my investment now :-)
Yes I sent pay slips too. No doubt they will come back asking for more information.
What I would say is I can see how the 3000+ who pre-registered will end up around the 700 final investor mark that Norwich got for their bond, because I can see some fans giving up on the set up process.
I want a call from Lee, a meal with Amit and watch a match with Les please
surrey chad & northwesthoop I never thought it would be so hard to give money to someone! If it was not the company asking difficult questions it was my bank's software playing up! Still not sure if the funds will get to my account and will be available for the Bond!!

My account 'Portfolio' tab is now saying 'action required', telling me I need to fund the ISA
Going to the IFISA tab it recognises the funds I have added, giving the correct ISA balance
But if I go to the 'wallet' tab it says £0.
Perhaps their system is still catching up.
Do I need to click "FUND APPLICATION" from the IFISA tab?
its not the easiest but not overly difficult just a bit of flaffing required. Its the best rate of interest so I have lumped on and got through the pain. I set it up as an ISA.

Just for info.
Not sure how you guys funded your account but if you did a Bank Transfer it can take a few days (can sometimes take up to a week) before the bank notifies the company of the amounts deposited and the respective reference numbers. You would hope that the company dealing with the bond issue has made arrangements with their bank to get notification asap.
