My Dad supports QPR, so I just picked it up from him. I always liked supporting a different team to everybody else in these parts too. Even now teachers and old friends always remember me more than others simply because of QPR!

With a limited ground capacity you would think there would be a smaller fan base. I always thought that until I found that our walking football club has a sponsor and 4 other players (out of about 50) are all Rs supporters! On top of that, our oldest player (80 years old) lived by the ground but (like Uncle Albert) went onto play elsewhere. He was a Wimbledon as a semi-pro then professional, playing in one of the cup finals at Wembley. Not an avid fan but takes does an interest still. So here on the South Coast I do not feel alone!

My son - Fox Fisher, who creates fantastic quality 'video shorts' as well as graphic art work, illustrations, and is an author. Self-employed and needs work! (Note: His talents do not derive from me!  )

Ta! Fox and his partner (a great drone pilot and interviewer) are both self-employed, so despite their considerable talent they live a hand to hand existence!!
