It was the penultimate round of Phase 1 so it was getting critical to pick up points but only singlespeed and NoahHoop predicting the R's would lose, with singlespeed getting 2-1 exact
stoatey, kingfisher, e17hoop and Rosco Bosco did have Chair as first goal scorer and fair play to singlespeed and NoahHoop who had Dembele for a back up point
stoatey and woodork had the 46-60 first goal time in a super pick but nobody got more than a single point from Bonus Match 1
The main news is that Tomcat75 is promoted to Division 1 straight away at the start of his first full season in the game. Although daveb and SydneyR could catch him with a maximum 18 point score, Tomcat75's goal difference cannot be caught in 1 match and so he is certain to go up. Well done Tomcat!
Below Tomcat75 a promotion race that once looked incredibly tight with 2 points covering 5 players just a few games ago, now looks like stoatey and LurkR are nailed on to join Tomcat in the top flight. stoatey has a 14 point cushion after scoring 29 points in 3 games to make a late charge for promotion. LurkR failed to score this week but is still 9 points clear of the chasing pack. daveb and SydneyR need to score big next week and hope for the best!
At the bottom qprallan, who remember had always been in the top flight prior to this season, has had a miserable first stint in The Championship and is now 16 points away from avoiding negative points. NoahHoop got 4 points but is still 7 from safety and that is because kingfisher scored 6 to escape the bottom 3 at the expense of QPRBex. QPRBex has never had negative points before need a decent score next week to avoid that fate. singlespeed is on 20 points as a late starter.
In the Premier League only e17hoop scored more than 1 point and that was vital to give him a fighting chance of avoiding relegation next week. He is still 4 points from safety. minxymartin got 1 point and is now only behind top flight mainstay MCM Hoop on goal difference. ranger-boy is still only 1 point ahead in what looks set to be a 4 player battle to avoid the drop. ashqpr could go down but that would require an unlikely set of results.
Ghost stays top and on course for the big 10 point bonus but MaxQPR is still only 1 point behind.
