Luton (A) (loss) Nottingham Forest (A) (loss) Peterborough (H) (win) Fulham (H) (loss) Sheffield United (A) (loss) Preston North End (A) (draw) (must win it but i think a draw will be what we get) Huddersfield Town (A) (loss) Derby (H) (win) Stoke City (A) (draw) Sheffield United (H) (win) Swansea (A) (win) and im being very optimistic here
As you see not an easy set of fixures at all would love to change 2 of those games for Hull and Cardiff at home again
were gonna have to get a result away at a ground we dont fancy to get anywhere near the play offs
or the shock of beating the best team in the championship Fulham at home might be what we need
so i think we will get 14 points from a possible 33 and even trying to be optimistic this wont be enough
hope im wrong and im usually the most optimistic of all QPR fans
thought me doing this thread might get me in a better mood but lets face it that 3 points dropped at home to cardiff really makes this look like Tom Cruises mission impossible
.......We've blown our easier fixtures and our run in looks so, so tough. If I had to make a prediction it's that we will be out of the play off picture altogether after the defeat to Huddersfield.
Hopefully we can find our mojo again, but it is looking less likely every match.
That is how I came away from Kieran Prince Foundation stadium on Saturday - and this thread is not helping....
Our remaining fixtures are all toughies because most of the teams we are going to play are either challenging for promotion or to avoid relegation. To get anything from these games we need to score goals and that's something we are failing to do.
Our inability to find a regular goalscorer has been a major issue this season and our strikers lack of goals has been really disappointing. Of the top 24 goal scorers/providers it's no surprise that Fulham and Bournemouth have the Leagues top 2 goalscorers. Fulham actually have 3 players in the top 24 and Bournemoth 2, even teams like Coventry and Forest have 2 players in the top 24. Our top league scorer/provider is Chair whose 25th with 8 goals and 3 assists.
Whilst early season the goals were being spread around the team they have now dried up and that lack of a clinical finisher will be a major disadvantage as we play these last 11 games. Can't see us getting many points and I'm resigned to us finishing in the middle of the table.
When your goals dry up this is what happens weve not been given a hiding by anyone except fulham we tend to only lose narrowly when we do get beaten our defence has never been an issue its the attacking play thats finished this season if we had continued scoring it wouldnt of mattered if we let in a goal or two most other championship teams let goals in but score 2 or 3 to win the matches we will not win many more football matches playing like we have been and mid table about 65 points i reckon and thats it its demoralising watching teams like millwall catching up with us now when we were flying a weeks back what the hell went wrong i never know, but we blew it this season for sure

I think we need to win 6 more games, won't be easy that's for sure but it is not impossible. All they can do is take it a game at a time. beat Luton next week and then see where that leaves us. I just hope the players haven't give up as easily as the fans have
