There were 5 home wins and 5 away wins in our 10 matches so no maximum scores this week.
14 out of the 21 of us got a home win. 6 got Newcastle’s win over Brighton: Tomcat75, daveb, QPRBex, jortja, Singlespeed and me. 5 Middlesbrough’s win over Luton: jimjams, qprallan, LurkR, Jalfrezi Rs and ranger-boy. Each of the other home wins was predicted by one player: SydneyR got Villa’s big win, CutePR got Preston’s win and minxymartin got Swansea’s win.
Only 10 got an away win. 6 got Reading’s loss to Millwall: kensalr, northwesthoop, qprallan, daveb, MCM Hoop and Singlespeed. 4 got Hull’s loss to West Brom: stoatey, kingfisher, SydneyR and Jalfrezi Rs.
Top scorers with 5 points each were Jalfrezi Rs, daveb, SydneyR, qprallan and Singlespeed.
The 2 horse race at the top took another twist with Jalfrezi Rs moving 2 points ahead of Rosco Bosco. After that there is an 11 point gap to kingfisher and jimjams in 3rd & 4th.
At the bottom Singlespeed is now only 3 points behind the pack after giving us a 7-week head start. Just above him is northwesthoop in 20th. And 5 points above that are stoatey and myself in 18th and 19th.
The 2 postponed matches from week 19 take place this week which might give a few of us a points boost when I report next week’s scores.
