Sack him if we don’t We were in the driving seat for even auto promotion at one point but to not even make the play offs would be a total failure after all the hard work at the start of the season We’ve been in relegation form last 10 games

Problem Is what was the expectations from the owners for this season he should only lose his job if promotion was aimed for this season If all the board want is to stay in the league and mid table Then he does his job ok and keep him I think the fans are just wondering where the hell it all went wrong this season and what a great chance we had to achieve something really special Won’t happen again in a long time probably

I personally feel the team needs rebuilding from scratch Or does it and it’s warburton constant tweeking and poor signings that have made us a unbalanced squad It’s all over the place at the moment and it’s really showing now the lack of quality we have all over the pitch Too many injury prone players, too many weak positions not filled and haven’t been properly all season But where do you start we are crap everywhere right now,you would think we need 11 new players by looking at the way we are playing right now We just look clueless and slow on the field and the team look like they don’t know each other Before Christmas we were buzzing and looking like a strong promotion contender, now it’s a case of who is going to beat us next and by how much

Dykes is massively important to how we play.
Willock is undoubtedly our best player.
Dieng settles the whole defence.
Take those 3 out of the team and then add other factors like randomly dropping Barbet, low confidence evident in some other players, Johansen and Austin not being anywhere near the level of their loan spells etc and it all adds up to our season imploding.
Also, in January 2021 the loan signings made our season. In January 2022 they killed our season.

say for example warburton had been sacked earlier in the season had we not had such a great start where would we be now Say we’d of got somebody like Steve Cooper look at the job he’s done at forest, but was it all in place for him there and he just had to take it on and basically do it his way But a new young manager with some fresh ideas would be great for our club at some point, lots of other clubs are going down that route

If the club wouldn't sack Warburton after the start he made to last season there is no chance of him getting sacked when we are 8th in the league.
Warburton isnt anywhere near my favourite manager and I find him dull and uninspiring in his interviews. Tactically I find him disappointing and rather than take responsibility he is quick to blame others when the team play poorly.
We shouldnt forget that Warburton has benifited from the sale of players that other managers signed and the club have supported him by giving him more money to spend than any recent manager.
The majority of our current squad are his players so if the team he picks don't perform he has to take the blame. IMO the team lacks leadership both on and off the pitch and whilst the top teams in this league all have a regular goal scorer they also have strong characters on the pitch.
After finishing 9th last season the club will need to decide at the end of the season whether a finish of 10th or lower is failure.
Whatever, the club decide it only makes sense to get rid of Warburton when there is a better option available. It would make no sense sacking Warburton as a knee jerk reaction to recent results.
i liked MW pre the cardiff result and didnt think that result could be matched never mind bettered but after my initial anger, and with what hes done over the past few seasons i think we will and should keep him
lets face it this month we have just been found out as overachieving
i think hes been a very good manager for us and the majority of his tenure hes had us playing very good football watching the posh highlights back how Andre Gray didnt make it 2-0 is beyond me, i dont like the fact MW keeps playing Hendrick although i do think Hendrick is a good player i dont think his arrival has helped us
do i think Barbet should have been left out for Sanderson Definatley not
do i think Dozzell should have started the last 2 games....hell no
do i feel sorry for Kingfisher and the several other thousands that witnessed both Cardiff and now this one? hell yes.
do i think we will reach the play offs now? no
did i think we would reach play offs in january? yes with ease
whats happened? i think there is more to this slump than bad luck i think he may have lost the dressing room charlie, Stefan, dykes (whos been called up to play for scotland despite not playing for us for over a month) body language of all 3 seems strange to me. whatever is going on behind closed doors we will never know but MW has lost us our guaranteed place in the play offs....what can i pinpoint this on? a very bad January window? possibly
bad luck us losing the keepers? very possible
did we shut down when we lost dieng and Chair at the AFCON? no the opposite we rose to the challenge and became almost stronger
would we have lost against posh? possibly not i think i would have played hendrick in place of dozzell to be honest in the absence of Johansen. when the rough scoreline of 3-1 came in would you have taken off Gray and Amos? i know i wouldnt
yes i was angry that it seems we have let a very strong play off chance slip from our fingers but would i sack MW no i wouldnt hes been far too good a manager over the past 3 seasons and i hope we stick by him
but this blip of form i have to admit is something bigger i just hope he hasnt lost the dressing room like it seems he may have because if he has all his hard work of 3 years might just have gone out the window. wish we could turn back time and go back to that win against Reading yes i would bring in Sanderson and Marshall but i would also bring in a striker of any descriiption even a young premiership striker just to give the fans the belief
i think MW thought his squad was better equipped than it was for goals but lots of us fans saw otherwise
Getting the crowd back on side is going to be hard as we’ve got a potential thrashing coming up from local rivals Fulham next My mate said He hadnt seen loftus road crowd as dejected as that in a long time The 3rd goal basically everyone knew that was end of the game for us,no big comeback was coming, that was it
If the club wouldn't sack Warburton after the start he made to last season there is no chance of him getting sacked when we are 8th in the league.
^^^^^THIS^^^^^^
If the season went from January 2021 to January 2022 we would have been automatically promoted!
MW has made great decisions for most of the season, recently he's made lots of bad ones...if he can learn from his mistakes then we can go again next season and improve again.
I do think the time may come when we need a better manager but that time will be when the better manager is available and wants to join us
Also...the Willock injury is simply impossible to overcome...
i personally would like a new manager if a decent one was avaliable not just based on success, warburton is one dimensional and repeats himself every season with his refusal to admit his errors it would be nice to take a new direction and have some fresh ideas coming in to the club a lot has gone wrong the last couple of months and injuries cant be blamed on him, thats just pure bad luck but the january window was a complete cock up and his team selections have baffled even himself the last few games we will finish mid table and wonder where it went wrong but this time round we know where it went wrong
