Ok heres one for you what if we dont win another game for the rest of the season how would you feel on this subject then
This is very, very unlikely.
My perspective is I like Warburton and what he's achieved on a small budget. I would like him to still be here next season whatever happens. He's got the right intentions even if some recent decisions have been poor (dropping Barbet in particular is just odd)
But in reality, if this did happen we'd finish bottom half and I think he could be gone.
This scenario would mean only 3 wins in the second half of the season (or close to that) which would make his position questionable.
Having said that I remember a few calling for his head in December 2020 (you would have been one singlespeed ) and look how he responded to that slump.
He's been incredibly unlucky because as jimjams said if the season started on 1 January we'd have gone up automatically.
I don’t wish the guy to lose his job at all It’s just a scenario we could be in come end of the season that we might not win another game I would like a change of direction from the club but that is my opinion only,I’m not a huge fan of warburton and results lately make me even less a fan,but he has done a great job on the budget he’s had to deal with, but he’s also bought in some complete rubbish players that have made no benefit to the club at all Time will tell and I think the club will stick with him as long as we end the season on a positive note

Of course he should not be replaced! On the budget he has been given he has (somehow) ensured we are punching above our weight every season. I am think it is an unenviable job when you are criticised for having no 'Plan B' and then criticised when you play without a real striker; restricted on funds in the January transfer window so you know you cannot afford the quality striker you must have; and have 3 x CBs out last season and 4 x goalies this season. I am not saying he is perfect. He is not, but he has introduced attractive football (when we play OK) and year-on-year he has (somehow) managed to maintain QPR's progression upwards in the Championship. Jam in 2022/2023 season...?
