Two popular predictions dominated things this week.
12 predicted that Spurs would beat Newcastle and they did. No-one got any of the other 3 home wins.
13 predicted that Birmingham would lose to West Brom but they won. In fact there was only one away win this week, Cardiff being thrashed by Swansea. Ranger-boy was the only one to predict that.
There were 5 draws but still only 9 of us predicted one correctly. CutePR, QPRBex & SydneyR got Leeds v Southampton. Singlespeed, minxymartin & jimjams got Luton v Millwall. Rosco Bosco & ashqpr got Coventry v Blackburn. LurkR got Barnsley v Reading.
This week’s top scorers were Rosco Bosco, ashqpr, CutePR, LurkR and Singlespeed with 5 points each.
It’s still looking like a 2 horse race at the top, with Rosco Bosco now 5 point clear of Jalfrezi Rs. kingfisher is 13 points behind Jalfrezi Rs in 3rd. He briefly looked like threatening the top 2 with a big week 27 but 2 zeros since then seem to have ended his challenge.
At the bottom, Singlespeed continues to close the gap to the rest of us after missing the first 7 weeks of the season. He is now only 2 points behind stoatey & SydneyR, with 4 others within 5 points.
