Following on from the #WeFollowRTeam, let’s have a stab at our worst elevens. No conditions in regards to them being players you’ve seen, no limits on formations or personnel in the same way there was with the QPR site. Just a good old XI on the worst players you’ve seen in Blue and White.

Just to chip in this actually links to something we are considering doing next summer with the Worst 50 QPR Players podcast series... so any names put forward will make the shortlist for that if we go ahead with it!!

Ademola Bankole
Jose Bosingwa Warren Barton Bruno Perone Joel Lynch Benoit Assou-Ekotto
Shaun Wright Phillips Joey Barton Daniel Tozser Ned Zelic
Modibo Maiga
Honarable mentions to Oscar Gobern, Zesh Rehman, Sean Goss, Adam Czerkas, Paul Konchesky, Mark Hateley, Federico Macheda, Jan Mlakar, Eric Sabin, Dean Sturridge, Sammy Youssouf, Mauro Zarate
Matt Pickens — you’ve got to be some player to never play a game and break your centre-forwards leg in training.
Zesh Rehman Danny Cullip Bruno Perone
Bosingwa Steve Palmer Petter Vaagan Moen Benoit Assou-Ekotto
Will Keane Stefan Moore Daniel Nardiello
Flirted with the idea of throwing Dominic Ball, Sebastian Polter, George Thomas and Marc Bircham in purely to provoke but settled on the eleven above 😅
Poor Steve Palmer Surely he was a solid pro? Limited player yes, but did a job in a tough time for the club. We've surely had worse?
I only saw Palmer play once, 0-0 draw with Crewe in 2003 which was my first ever game. He looked like an old man and played like an old man too. To this day I can remember walking away thinking people actually pay to come and see old men like him try and run around 😂. He was that bad he conditioned a apathy towards midfielders taller than 6ft with no ball skill, that still lasts to this day. There are the a few I like, others I can appreciate and see the benefit of them in the team. But Steve Palmer is responsible for my hatred of tall, lanky, bumbling midfielders, one that I don’t think will ever go away 😂
What a great call Stefan Moore is. He was truly hopeless when we expected so much more. I’d forgotten all about him.
The front three I had nailed on from the start. All three were disastrous. I stopped going to games for a just over a year after watching Will Keane play away at Charlton
Chris Samba is a good call. Some of these guys we are mentioning were free transfers and what did we expect. But Samba was our record transfer and was literally atrocious.
Hoillett definitely disappointed. We thought he was a brilliant signing at the time. But he escapes the list for me thanks to 15 seconds of effort that led to the play off final winner.
