FSV v QPR

Playing some good stuff and 2 -0 up after 11mins. A screamer from Dozzell.

The only really threat was a cross that saw the FSV striker get between Dickie and JCS but head wide.

Stephan Johansen makes it 3-0 after 36 minutes with a free kick.

3 - 0 halftime.  The home team had a couple of chances just before halftime, the first from a sloppy pass by Dozzell and the second was a tremendous shot that rippled the top of the net. Drewe hasn't had much to cope with down the right but he has done ok and it's been good to see him get some minutes.

Beale will have been impressed with that first 45 minutes and it will be interesting to see his changes 8n the second half.

A great move ended with the ball in the net but Bonne was just off side.

The hosts didn't make any changes at half time and are apparently a week ahead of us in their preparations and playing their strongest team.

I agree and I hope that Beale doesn't get blinded by Bonne and Dykes scoring against poor teams. IMO neither of our strikers are regular Championship goal scorers and against the better defenders both have looked poor. 

Finding a goal scorer is the most difficult thing in football but if we are to finish higher than last season then Beale will need to find somebody who can start putting the ball in the net on a regular basis. If Beale is as good a coach as he is being lauded then he will be able to spot our weak links.

Should Paal who has looked very good get injured then we would have a major issue because Niko isn't good enough. However, the most important player we need is a first choice right back followed by a goal scorer. Hopefully, Beale is weighing up the qualities of our current squad and will be straight on the phone trying to recruit new players when they return.
