No new striker joining before deadline day

is this actually happening?
the thought of no striker coming in has me in fear for this season, Roberts as a striker is unknown as yet Dykes isnt upto it it game in game out Bonne is wanting out despite being told by the management team he is in their first team plans but they had that thrown back in their faces recent by Bonne saying he wants out.
I sense us having no other option but to throw Sinclair Armstrong into the mix and lets just hope he is ready. but going back even Les Ferdinand wasnt ready at this guys age so it will be a big ask.
to get round this i would sell Dieng and use the money to bring in a striker and possibly another centre half and would also have kept hold of David Marshall as our number 1 who wouldnt have cost a penny and done a good job in goal
for me seeing whats happend with this squad it was wrong to keep hold of all our better players on this occasion i think it would have been better to sell 1 of Dickie, Dieng, Chair or Willock and get in the very obvious need of a striker at the very least.
in my opinion we are still in need of
1. a full back that can play either flank
2. Striker
3. Centre back
we have too many number 10s and now they look like they will be suing one of them as an out and out striker
i feel for Beale but this was the reason MW didnt get his contract renewed because lets face it he would have had none of this playing Kakay, Shodipo, Haamelainen business
