This week we had 5 home wins, 3 away wins and just 2 draws in our 10 matches. So it should have been a bit easier to score points. But actually it proved as hard as ever. No-one saw Brighton beating West Ham or Reading beating Middlesbrough or Luton beating Swansea etc.
Well done to jimjams who was the only one of us to get 3 points, correctly predicting Palace’s win over Villa and Sunderland’s win at Stoke. In fact this was his 2nd entry but I allow changes up to the deadline so this is all good.
9 others got single points for picking 1 winner. Sheff Utd’s win over Blackburn was picked by Rosco Bosco, northwesthoop, LurkR, Jalfrezi Rs and me. Crystal Palace’s win over Aston Villa was picked by jortja, singlespeed and jrperry1882. Sunderland’s win at Stoke was picked by SydneyR.
After 4 rounds jrperry1882 is hanging onto top spot on goal difference from jimjams, who jumps from 10th to 2nd. Both have 5 points. LurkR is 3rd on 4 points, with qprfcfromwhitecity 4th on goal difference. After that we have 10 players on 3 points.
It is looking like picking up a point each week will keep you in contention.
At the bottom, qprallan has yet to pick a winner. woodwork seems to have dropped out after 1 week. But above them are 4 players on 1 point.
