A QPR XI played Charlton today and drew 2-2 at Loftus Road.
Matt Smith hit a double in between Charlton's 2 goals.
There was game time for Lumley, Lynch, Furlong, Goss (playing in defence), Petrasso, Lua Lua, Chair, Cousins, Borysiuk, Smith and Wheeler. Shodipo and Kakay made appearances from the bench.

Yes definitely a make-shift back 3.
Goss is really struggling - nowhere near the first team picture and it seems we are trying to find a position that suits him.
Clearly a talented young player but over-protected in the Man Utd youth system. It shows how playing football is so important, he has barely played a first team game in his life and he is 22! It is a shambolic system that the tops clubs operate/are allowed to operate. We need to get him a loan move in January at a lower level and hope he comes back with a bit of confidence.

I agree about Goss needing more play time. The club needs to loan him out to a League One side that will develop him further. Not getting sufficient game-time with quality at ManU is what a lot of our great U17s & U21s may find in the future...
We need the current defence to be worked on not outsiders. Surely would have been more beneficial to use them in preparation for weekend. SMITH will only be on bench but I would play him.
