I suppose that when there is no proper football and it's just a load of meaningless International matches the media have to think of something to write. A post by Football League World made me smile when they published the top 10 QPR players (including our loans) by value,
1. Illias Chair £4.8m = 2 Chris Willock £4.5m = 2 Tyler Roberts £4.5m = 2 Ethan Laird £4.5m 5 Rob Dickie £2.7m 6 Lyndon Dykes £2.5m 7 Tim Ireogbunam £2.25 8 JCS £1.8m = 9 Seny Dieng £1.35m =9 Jimmy Dunne £1.35m
I know that players are only worth what another club will pay but I'd be mortified if we sold Chair, Willock or Dieng for the paltry valuation suggested by FLW. However, if we could buy a load more Chris Willocks for £4.5m a pop I'd be ecstatic.
Not sure what Sam Field and Luke Amos make of this list but I'd value them both higher than £1.35m.
I think some of our fans value its best players a little unrealistically but the club are more reserved i believe
my values trying to be as unbias as possible
1. Chair 5 million 2. Willock 6 million 3. Roberts 2 million 4. Laird 4.5 million 5. Dickie 2 million 6. Dykes 2 million 7. Ireobunam cant really judge as yet but youth on his side i would go with whats already been stated 2.25 million 8. JCS free transfer 9. Dieng 4 million 10. Dunne 2 million
chair 8 million willock 15 million Roberts 4 million Laird 6 million Dickie 3 million Dykes 2.5 million Ireogbunam 8 million JCS 2 million Dieng 6 million Dunne 2 million
