The penultimate match of Phase 1 before we find out who gets promoted, who goes down and who get's the big bonus points!
The defeat was only predicted by Jalfrezi Rs and myself but Luke Freeman stole the full 6 points from us by making it 3-1.
Jalfrezi Rs went one better by having Adebayo as first scorer. ranger-boy also got Adebayo to finally end a 12 match run of scoring 1 or 0!
daveb, ranger-boy, myself, Ghost, qprallan, kingfisher, Jalfrezi Rs, LurkR, MCM Hoop, SydneyR, CutePR and e17hoop all got the 16-30 first goal time.
Watford beat Norwich 2-1 in the bonus match which gave the full 3 bonus points to Rosco Bosco, myself, daveb and stoatey
The top scorer was Jalfrezi Rs with 12 points and that moves him up 3 places to 2nd - e17hoop only holds on to top spot on goal difference.
A decent 9 point haul for ranger-boy is too little too late and he is now confirmed as relegated ending a run of 6 phases and 2 years in the top flight. My 9 points get me out of the drop zone. CutePR still has a chance of survival but needs to overturn a 10 point deficit.
In The Championship the top 2 failed to score and it has created a hell of a final day promotion fight. 4 points now cover the top 6 and LurkR in 7th still has an outside shot at taking a top 3 spot with a big score. It could all well come down to goal difference.
