World Cup 2022 : Round 2
The last 16 of our World Cup knockout competition for 2022/23 involves more group games from the World Cup itself - the deadline is 6pm SUNDAY 27 NOVEMBER
It is head to head ties for the remaining 4 rounds. Here is a reminder of how Round 2 shapes up with 8 ties taking place:
Tie 1: MCM Hoop V Ricardo Rangers
Tie 2: QPRBex V NoahHoop
Tie 3: northwesthoop V CutePR
Tie 4: ashqpr V kingfisher
Tie 5: Jalfrezi Rs V ranger-boy
Tie 6: stoatey V Rosco Bosco
Tie 7: daveb V qprfcfromwhitecity
Tie 8: LurkR V Ghost
All scores are reset as well as the goal difference. Previous scores and previous goal difference only come into play if 2 players are still tied in Round 2.
Round 2 reverts to our traditional cup set up with 46 points the maximum score available from predictions involving 4 matches, with less emphasis on each match from 1 to 4.
The Quarter Finals will be 4 head to head battles with the winner of Tie 1 facing the winner of Tie 5, 2 plays 6, 3 plays 7 and 4 plays 8 so the draw is already set with the same format and tie Vs tie sequence as the previous cups we have had.
As a reminder here are the deadlines for upcoming rounds if you make it through:
The Quarter Finals will be based on 4 last 16 matches - deadline 03 December
The Semi Finals will be based on the 4 Quarter Finals - deadline 09 December
Our Final will be based the 2 semi finals and 2 league matches taking place at that time - deadline 13 December
