In Match 1 nobody had the Netherlands to win 3-1 exact but only CutePR and Ricardo Rangers failed to pick a Dutch victory. Only NoahHoop had the 0-15 first goal time and nobody had any of the scorers.
On to Match 2 as England won 3-0 which CutePR did brilliantly to get exact. ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco had the 31-45 first goal time
France moved past Poland 3-1 in Match 3 which nobody had exact but daveb and Ricardo Rangers did get the 31-45 first goal time
Finally Argentina defeated Australia 2-1 in Match 4 which saw NoahHoop as the only player to get the full 6 points, with everybody else collecting 3
In a turnaround from the previous 2 rounds there were half as many yellow cards, with just 8 bookings in the 4 games this time and this was again to prove critical
Spare a thought for NoahHoop who was equal top scorer in the round with 19 points, but his opponent Rosco Bosco also got 19 and was closer on the goal difference to make it through to the semi finals by the finest of margins.
A 3 point winning margin was enough for both ranger-boy and daveb who saw off Ricardo Rangers and CutePR respectively.
LurkR effectively got a bye as ashqpr was absent with illness

The Semi Finals will be the winner of Tie 1 against the winner of Tie 4 and the winner of Tie 2 against the winner of Tie 3; which leaves us with the following semi final line up:
Semi Final 1: ranger-boy Vs LurkR
Semi Final 2: Rosco Bosco Vs daveb
The points all reset to zero. Round 1-3 score and previous goal difference only come into play going forward if there is no separating the players in the next round.
Our Semi Finals will be available to enter once all of the World Cup Quarter Finals are finalised - the deadline will be 3pm on Friday 9 December
