ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco were battling it out for 10 bonus points in our World Cup Final... let's see who came out on top...
In Match 1 France defeated Morocco 2-0. ranger-boy came out of this match 1 point ahead due to going for France as the first scorer for a 4-3 lead.
In Match 2 both players had Argentina winning, but neither got 3-0. They of course both got Messi as first scorer but Rosco Bosco had the 31-45 first goal time to pick up 12 points from this match compared to 9 for ranger-boy, taking a 2 point lead...
Match 3 saw Bolton beat Man Utd U21s 4-0 - Rosco Bosco predicted the Bolton win to move 5 points ahead leaving ranger-boy 5 behind with only 6 points left to play for...
Bristol Rovers won 4-1 in Match 4 and although ranger-boy did get 3 points back it wasn't enough and Rosco Bosco is our World Cup champion! Well done Rosco, who becomes only the 2nd player to win 2 cup competitions following in the footsteps of ashqpr.
Rosco Bosco now gets to decide if he wants the 10 bonus points straight away in Phase 2 or saved for Phase 3 - please reply in this thread!!
