We need a short term replacement manager Save us from relegation then we will offer you the job after that Warnock got the Huddersfield crowd absolutely rocking yesterday you would of thought they won the title Critchley wasn’t the right man for QPR job just too nice a guy for the group of players we have and a relegation challenge

Nice guy. Wrong guy.
It makes sense because we've worked our way in to trouble. All his coaches have been shown the door too.
We need an interim who can get the team going, then re-assess in the summer.
What a costly mistake it was to hire Critchley, all the Beale compensation up in smoke.
Some strange quotes on the official site from Lee Hoos saying Critchley will be a success again elsewhere (suggests QPR are a mess then and hard job) and as usual it seems that nobody higher up will be taking any of the blame for the mess they have caused.

I feel sorry for Critchley, the players let him down and I wonder how many will suddenly be fit and available for the Blackburn game.
When you have to appoint your 3rd manager in a season there's clearly a bigger issue and they will need good luck in trying to find a decent interim manager at this time in the season.
Our owners and board have been a disaster from day one.
I am not saying sacking Critchley was wrong, after all the stats do not lie, but what a hopeless piece of business to bring him in and pay him off 12 matches later! I still believe that this is the wrong time to be looking for even an interim manager capable of turning the squad's fortunes around. I do hope there is someone out there who is capable and willing!
As pointed out before In a situation like this Somebody like Ian Holloway would suit He would get the crowd fired up again and wake up the players for a relegation battle

I think Holloway did a good job last time around. If you take this cycle of players Chair, Bright, Eze, Manning they were all given their first opportunities under Holloway. McClaren was a step backwards, but Holloway laid the foundations for Warburton and without his time in management Warburton wouldn’t have been as successful as he was.
However there is no chance of Holloway coming back, particularly after the way he was treated by the club with the board going behind his back to speak to and promise the job to McClaren. That one is dead in the water.
Can’t believe the bookies have got Lampard and Terry on the list of potential candidates they’re taking bets on. Madness
Only makes sense if they have a replacement already lined. Probably Wilder or Ainsworth.
Probably had to give Critchley and his coaches the money we got from the loss of Beale so more super business from the owners, Les and Hoos.
Wilder likes to splash money, and whilst I’m not accusing of him being a racist, he’s struggled to connect with black players. He was looking to bomb Chuba Akpom out of Middlesbrough at the start of the season, and his Sheffield United team was predominantly white. So I’d have some question marks as to whether Wilder could really connect with this team. He also likes to spend money, not sure he fits us. If he isn’t taking Huddersfield, I’m not sure he’s taking us
On Ainsworth, romantic yes, but does Gareth Ainsworth need QPR? At this point I’m not sure. In the summer yes possibly, but I think he’d be foolish to leave Wycombe at this current point. He should beware the fate of Nathan Jones. Who is an option, but with Southampton very raw still, will he struggle to connect with the players too.
Dean Smith would be on my list somewhere, but I think it’ll be an appointment until the end of the season. Club isn’t going to bunker itself in to an expensive manager with the risk of relegation so high. Instinct to me says it’ll be Bircham until the end of the season, I don’t really so who is the alternative.

Ainsworth has got Wycombe in good form and up to 7th, 3 points outside the play offs. He loves Wycombe so I can't see him walking out on them at a critical time of the season.
Bircham is a decent call, he would help create some better feeling, but he seems happy in Italy. Would he leave that good job for a 3 month cameo? Unlikely.
our only option went to huddersfield in my opinion yes it would of maybe been scraping the barrel a bit but warnock knows how to handle these situations i remember when rotherham were dead and buried in this league and he got them out of trouble

My concern with appointing Warnock would be not knowing when he will walk out, announcing his retirement (again).....
