This is true I did approve of his performance, but I don’t approve of him playing at the back. Am I wrong in saying he played in midfield in the first half on Saturday?? I did watch the game, but maybe my brain is playing tricks on me?
I also don’t approve of these fans demanding their money back either.
I agree that Field is much better in midfield although it doesn't really matter where he plays if we keep making silly mistakes and can't defend set pieces. It really does sum up our season when you compare how we played against Watford to the shambles against Blackpool.
Agreed entirely stoatey , ironically kingfisher and I spoke about our inability to defend set-plays properly in the podcast a month or so ago, and how if Swansea had better attackers of the ball they’d have been ahead against us at half time
I’m surprised other physical teams like Burnley didn’t score more against us with our inability to defend set pieces Then again good teams once 2 or 3 nil up know they’ve done enough and it’s game over Blackpool will be back to the drawing board tomorrow and beaten by Coventry, that was a one off for them But we were thrashed by a poor side and that’s what is absolute frightening knowing we have to play a much better Birmingham side tomorrow How the hell we beat Watford I never know

Part of the reason we are in this brown stuff is because we did not get an understudy for Sam Field in DM. So, when he was forced to cover elsewhere, his absence left a massive hole that neither Dozzell or Tim was capable of filling! Instead we got more CM!!
