The anger of those fans was, I feel, unfair. Balogun has just come back from a long-term injury and must be regarded still as always a step off his normal speed and thinking. He made a rash decision and (literally) paid the penalty.
Not often I disagree kingfisher but I feel the fans were totally within their right to give him/the team stick.
Balogun has been sat on his arse for 5 months whilst QPR fans have traveled the country watching us lose every week. He then returns, costs us the match and comes over and tells the fans to calm down. He should have just understood the situation and gone down the tunnel like 90% of the other players did.
Come over, clap but keep your distance. Why come that close and start gesturing and even create that situation?
Even Ilias Chair was in a bit of a debate before Balogun got there so Balogun was never going to get a good reception. What did he really expect?
It’s only going to get worse the more we lose The home crowd will 100% vent their anger if we get nothing against Preston on our next game We are running out of games and facing the real possibility of league one football next season.what are we supposed to do Give them a big

I thought that apart from his clumsy challenge Balogun had done well. As I've said elsewhere, Balogun was left exposed but IMO the real issue was Dunne wandering off up field and yet again getting caught out by the long ball over the top.
The players going over to the fans after yet another defeat wasnt the wisest move because tempers were understandably high.
Let's hope that on Friday against Preston the team are coming off to cheers.
