Not loads to talk about What do you think about it being axed Personally think it’s had it’s day and was coming Once you see two screaming twin girls trying to hit a football in a couple of bins mounted up in a goal, you realise it’s had its day Was a good show with Helen chamberlain and Tim lovejoy but Jimmy Bullard is about as funny as my little finger I still watch it now and the only bit I like is the shocker Saturday bit where John Fendley takes mick out of Jeff stelling But the rest of it is pretty crap, lacks depth and quality of guest and is the same week in week out, although they had Noel Gallagher and jill scott on there couple of weeks ago Which I was surprised I actually recognised a guest on there It’s a Shame it’s going but it’s run it’s course now and sadly has to go

I haven't watched it for many years as it felt too repetitive. I liked the end bit taking free kicks and penalties but it was largely the same thing week after week so I suspect it has had its day.
It maybe didn't need to be weekly. They must have data showing less viewers to lead to the decision.
It probably isn't helped by everything being on demand now and clubs having their own podcasts and videos etc. Fans don't need to watch Soccer AM on a Saturday morning for their football fix like they used to.

The problem it had was Fantasy Football League is similar Matt Lucas is much funnier with the football sketches and comedy They just do it better on there and at night too Kicking the ball round in a car park with a few cheap gags isn’t really a quality football comedy show The producers didn’t help them with the cheap bands and rubbish celebrities they got on there either

It was great back in the late 90's and 00's but not watched it in years now I worked at Sky for a bit and got to meet Helen Chamberlain who was great and she made Max Rushden give me a tour of the set which was awkward for him but he was alright as well.
The programme collapsed when they swaped Max Rushden and John Fendley over. Rushden was very good on SoccerAM, the best since Lovejoy, and personally my favourite of the SoccerAM presenters. And Fenners was very good on the Fantasy Football programme on Sky with a Paul Merson. Swapped them over and both shows collapsed.
