Apologies, I need to wash my ears out although its probaly more to do with my old age. 

I think the average player scores given for Field through to Willock were very fair. It says a lot about our squad when the majority of the players scored less than the average of 5.

In respect of the managers I thought in the short time we had Beale he performed miracles to get some very poor players playing and believing they could win games. When you get a manager like him who players look up to and want to run through brick walls for then the next guy into the hot seat is faced with an impossible task. I'd have given him an 8.

Unfortunately for Critchley he was taking over a deflated team that were coming back after a break and who hadn't been in great form before that break. He wasn't helped by several players getting injured and others who just looked uninterested. I gave him a 4.

The appointment of Ainsworth IMO was a panic move and was done to shield Les from lots of flak. I gave him a 4.

I'd also like to mark our D of F whose decision making when appointing managers and signing players has been atrocious. I do give him credit for getting Beale because that was a smart move but when we needed a strong motivational manger his decisions were poor. When it came to signing players their were some real misfits and what he was thinking when we signed Richards I've no idea.  Richards had got injured during hs medical at Birmingham so that was a huge clue that the guy was unlikely to be able to play a full game. Sir Les I give you a very generous 2.

With the majority of our experienced players now over the hill and a lot of our younger players needing more experience next season is going to be very tough.
