The new training ground opens today, players are about to return for pre-season training and the fixtures are out tomorrow.
Who do you want to open against or who do you predict we will get on the opening day? Who do you want to avoid?
As always I'd like to avoid the newly relegated teams. Leicester, Leeds or Southampton away could be horrible!
We were away to Blackburn last season and at home to Forest and Millwall before that.
We always seem to start with a team who was already in the Championship, so I wonder if this is our turn to get one of the promoted or relegated sides.
Being totally selfish, I would like an easier side (if they exist) to allow the newly-formed side to gel - so not any of the ex-PL sides please!
Out of interest, the performance analyst we met at the opening today showed on the screen what they had observed with Burnley's use of CBs and how the team then practised a diagonal ball to the far post - which did result in that crucial goal against them!

I'd like to play one of the promotion favourites like Leicester or Leeds away. Nobody would give us a chance and we could catch them cold.
I'd imagine that all 3 teams relegated from the Premiership will see a huge turnover of first team players and if there is a good time to play them it has to be that first match when their new players are still getting to know each other.
I feel the fixtures have at least been spread out ok, we have some winnable games on paper each month and no back to back really tough runs.
The Cardiff and Ipswich matches give us a good chance for points in the opening month.
October perhaps looks a tricky month and we have 8 fixtures in 4 weeks from 2nd December.
I felt the same when I logged them all down, plus I felt there was the opportunity to have ourselves mid-table before some tricky ones away from home in November (after which a dismal start would get the Board itchy I suspect...). So, I am looking for a good, solid start! There will be no winning run this season, rather a case of avoiding another losing streak!!

We've been drawn at home to NORWICH in the 1st round of the EFL Cup - that's a pretty tough draw for us considering we almost always usually get a League One/Two team and still struggle!
I'll want to be at Plymouth away. Being an expat in Kernow it's just down the rd for me.
9 April is my 47th wedding anniversary. Now I just need to persuade my wife that is a great way to celebrate it.....
We can drive down earlier, stay with our daughter in Saltash and get to the ground to meet you and stoatey. I just need to arrange the cake for half-time...
