And let's face it every summer we have to get a new right back. Kakay never seems to have taken that as a hint he needs to kick on and make the position his own. He's 26 soon.

Completely agree. Each season he has a 2/3 game patch where it looks like the penny has dropped and he's turned a corner. Then, he drops off completely. Very frustrating.
Do agree Kakay appears to improve and then reverts to type, so he cannot be considered a part of any Starting XI intending to keep a clean sheet. This late in the window we are looking at a loan - hopefully a 'bright young thing' out to gain experience, rather than an over-30 on the decline.
Alebiosu is definitely worth a punt and probably needs us as much as we need him. Lack of games at his age is a bit of an issue in my book, I personally think you should have more than 29 senior league games under your belt as you approach 22. But it’s worth at least having a look at. Brooke Norton-Cuffy is a better option at Arsenal, but if Alebiosu’s loan fee is a stumbling block then his will be unbridgeable. Josh Key of Exeter, Junior Tchamadeu of Colchester, or Max Johnston who’s just gone to Salzburg may in time prove more sensible options we missed out on, but we’ve nothing to lose in at least taking Alebiosu for six months.
QPR youngsters Trent Rendall and Micah Anthony have extended their contracts until the end of the season, it has been confirmed. In fact, 22-year-old defender Trent Rendall and winger Micah Anthony only had deals running until the end of this month. Now though, it has been confirmed that both will be staying for the duration of the season.
Not quite sure how it got to this stage of their contracts but at least it is temporarily resolved.

Rendall has been at the club since a youngster and after spells on loan at Eastbourne and Eastleigh I'm surprised they need another 6 months to decide whether or not to off load him. He's in a similar boat to Joe Gubbins whose the same age and struggles to get into the Accrington Stanley team. At 22yo both are central defenders and they have to be pushing for a place in our first team or producing decent performances whilst out on loan. Both will be 23yo by the time next season starts and neither look to be good enough for even League 1 football.
Micah Anthony is only 19yo and he needs to be tried at a higher level to see if he sinks or swims but he's definitely worth another 6 months
