I saw this list on Twitter and thought it was worth posting:
✍️✍️ FREE AGENTS ✍️✍️
Even though the transfer window is closed, Championship clubs can still sign free agents 👀
Anyone take your fancy?👇
𝑫𝑬𝑭𝑬𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑺
Axel Tuanzebe Phil Jones Ryan Bertrand Danny Rose Joe Bennett Ciaran Clark Craig Cathcart Matt Lowton Darnell Fisher Daniel Ayala Steven Caulker Scott Dann
𝑴𝑰𝑫𝑭𝑰𝑬𝑳𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑺
Sam Clucas Josh Onomah Tom Trybull Robert Snodgrass Danny Drinkwater Stefan Johansen Luke Amos Luke Freeman
𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑾𝑨𝑹𝑫𝑺
Andre Ayew Anwar El Ghazi Junior Stanislas Lyle Taylor Chris Martin Tariq Fosu Junior Hoilett Gary Madine Shane Long Connor Wickham Andre Gray
I truly cannot believe Luke Amos has not been snapped up by another Championship side!
One not on the list, but released by Brighton and already trialled with us, is Casey Shann who is a 19 year old LB. According to the media we are about to sign him: www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-ready-to-sign-free-agent-defender I presume one for the future?

I'm half surprised about Amos and half not.
He's proven he can be a good player but clubs will be very concerned about his injury record. Add that to the fact he was probably on a decent want at Spurs then at QPR and if he has to drop a league clubs won't be offering anywhere near that. He also maybe doesn't want to move far (seemed a very family type lad in his interview with kingfisher a few years back) which restricts his options.
I hope he finds a club though because he had a lot of potential.

Apparently Andre Gray is off to Saudi club Al Riyadh who are reputedly paying him £100k/week. Crazy!
Literally crazy. It's like they don't know how to negotiate over there. I can't imagine any other team was willing to pay him anything over £10k a week at a push yet the Saudis start the bidding at £100,000 per week!

Once they started offering silly money there was no chance they would be able to draw back and offer less for others. The precedent had been set! I can sort of see what they are hoping to achieve through this: jump a generation of development; but I am sure none of those taking the gold will be that motivated. Perhaps in 5 years time I will be proved wrong though...
