Week 8 was another low scoring round mainly thanks to 2 very popular predictions not coming off. No fewer than 19 selected Everton to beat Luton but, to everyone's surprise, Luton won. 11 picked Ipswich to win at Huddersfield but they only drew.
Most of the points were scored on the other popular prediction with 10 people getting Leicester's win at Blackburn. Other than that: jortja got Cardiff's win over Rotherham, qprallan got Norwich's win over Birmingham and absolutecaulker got Stoke's win at Bristol City.
Putting that all together, 13 of us got a point for finding one win and the other 13 got none. Another difficult week all round.
stoatey was one that scored a point and he moves to the top of the table on goal difference from LurkR. MCM Hoop also scored a point to move up to 3rd, ahead of moldyhoop and ashqpr on goal difference.
woodork's point moves him out of the bottom 3. The new bottom 3 are kingfisher, CutePR and singlespeed, all of whom failed to score this week.
The good news with these low scoring weeks is that the table remains very bunched. So a couple of good weeks from anyone will move them into contention. Good luck with week 9.
