Andrew sounds like an absolute pro, that is expect analysis, well worth a listen. The club should get him in for some advice!!

It's an interesting listen from the 9-10 minute mark in particular, I would say Andrew has some ideas that are probably too idealistic for the football world.

I can't see any football manager accepting somebody coming in to "make them better" and then see where they are in 6 months. There is a reason that just doesn't happen in football. Too many egos.

Ainsworth has been a manager for over a decade and will personally believe he knows what is right. Somebody coming in to suggest "x, y and z" won't go down well.

Clubs often bring in a former manager or senior figure (a bit like we did when Warnock came in during Ramseys tenure) but it very rarely works. The manager still unusually ends up sacked shortly after. The dynamic just doesn't suit the footballing world.

Yes in normal business you just don't go round sacking managers who are struggling but it's very hard to compare.

A very enjoyable podcast and a very interesting listen. In respect of Warburton he left West Ham back in June but I'd never want him back.
