FA Cup 2023/24 : Round 2
The last 16 of our FA Cup knockout competition for 2023/24 ties in with the 4th Round of the FA Cup
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FRIDAY DEADLINE AS HALF THE MATCHES ARE ON FRIDAY NIGHT
It is head to head ties for the remaining 4 rounds. Here is a reminder of how Round 2 shapes up with 8 ties taking place:
Tie 1: Rosco Bosco V LurkR
Tie 2: Ricardo Rangers V qprallan
Tie 3: CutePR V MaxQPR
Tie 4: loftussi V northwesthoop
Tie 5: jimjams V topo79
Tie 6: MCM Hoop V SydneyR
Tie 7: absolutecaulker V kingfisher
Tie 8: ashqpr V moldyhoop
All scores are reset as well as the goal difference. Previous scores and previous goal difference only come into play if 2 players are still tied in Round 2.
Round 2 has the same set up and scoring system as Round 1 with 49 points the maximum score available from predictions involving 4 matches, with less emphasis on each match from 1 to 4. Extra time counts when played, so the result will be what stands at 120 minutes but penalty shoot outs do not influence the scoring. If the first goal is scored in extra time 76-90 gets the points. Match 3 again has a slightly different set up to previous years cups as you now predict the first goal scorer rather than the goal time.
The Quarter Finals will be 4 head to head battles with the winner of Tie 1 facing the winner of Tie 5, 2 plays 6, 3 plays 7 and 4 plays 8 so the draw is already set with the same format and tie Vs tie sequence as the previous cups we have had.
