You must have seen coverage on our Under 18s? They are doing rather well this season, and in 2024 remain unbeaten in all competitions!

He is a grandson and 'Arry is apparently watching.

Having dominated play in the first half we had Burnley make a surprise incursion and score in the very last minute. To make that worse, they then did the same in the first couple of minutes of the second half! So, Burnley lead 0-2 but their play continues to involve a high press and good, positive play.

It is rather weird that, adopting the same style of play as the First Team, you see U18s who look like Sinclair, Chair and JCS! Nearly forgot to mention Alfie Tuck who is a great one in the middle!!

I also wonder if the strong emphasis upon ball-possession and working the ball results in players opting to pass - rather than advance on the goal or take a shot?

Burnley did one thing better than us - they finished off their (few) attacks with a goal. Still impressed by the core of this U18s side though.
