The second goal is a result of us having to push forward for an equaliser. However, overall this has been a poor performance that cost us 3 points. It is not often that Marti makes poor substitutions but I feel today he has. I would have taken off Armstrong for Dykes (to provide fresh legs); Smyth for Willock; and Dixon-Bonner for Hayden; and I would have done this no later than 60 mins. For once, we cannot blame the ref as he tried to keep the game flowing and was fair in his use of the whistle.

We struggled to play against a very physical team and learnt nothing from the game at Hillsborough when we allowed Bannon to run the show. We knew from playing them previously that they like to press high and won't allow you time. Credit to them because we couldn't adapt and all we did was get frustrated.
The worry was why Marti didn't change things at half time but persisted with the same players despite some of them not performing at all. It was one of those games where we could have played all night and not scored. Up front we offered next to nothing and that continues to be a major concern.

Bad sign for Wednesday. How many times over the last few seasons have we lost both games to teams that went on to be relegated. A fair few I'd guess.
Today is a total disaster Huddersfield last minute goal also sealed a depressing day We actually are now officially in big trouble if we lose to Plymouth as we won’t beat Leeds or Coventry And hull and Preston are difficult games too So unless teams below us stop getting points we could actually go down now after all Last week I thought we had a chance of staying up What a weeks results can do to change things in this league hey

Huddersfield's goal was a disaster but come on you can't say we won't beat Leeds or Coventry. Who would have thought we'd beat Leicester?
We have still done amazingly well to get into this position. We are still 4 above the dotted line with only 5 games left. It's a strong position, but Tuesday's game is now huge.

Bottom line is still the same: We are not scoring! So, no matter how well or poor we perform in the other two thirds, the inability of the team (and mostly the attackers) to score will prove to be the final nail in the coffin if we go down.
