Begovic 5 - Why he's our captain is beyond me. Doesn't inspire confidence and flaps at crosses.
Dunne 6 - Did alright but gets turned too easily
Cook 7 - My QPR MotM. Another good performance
JCS 6 - Has developed a great understanding with Cook and hopefully his substitution wasn't due to injury.
Paal 4 - he struggled today and he found it difficult againt the Wednesday wide man.
Hayden 3 - Our worst player and looked out of his depth. A rash challenge nearly gave away a penalty and then a poor clearance for their goal. Out muscled by the Wednesday midfield.
Field 5 - Found it difficult in midfield and had no help from Hayden
Chair 5 - Wednesday put 2 men on him and he couldn't get into the game
Andersen 5 - Has been a revelation since signing in January but went missing today. Should have scored.
Willock 4 - should have been subbed at half time. Had looked like he was coming back into form but was way off the pace today.
Armstrong 5 - came up against a defender who was as big and strong as him but much wiser. Sinclair will become a much better player for these experiences.
Marti 5 - Got the tactics totally wrong against a physical team who dominated the midfield. Should have made some changes sooner and didn't seem to realise that persisting in hitting long balls up to Armstrong wasn't going to work.
Big performance needed on Tuesday night now. Being so close to survival, only to be dragged back in, could be very difficult to overcome.
Exactly this. A win today and it really was done.
But those other results are like a double whammy.
We deserved to lose today though. Abject.
The Andersen chance was huge, if that goes in maybe we get a point but we wouldn't have deserved it.
It will be interesting to see whether Colback is available against Argyle because I believe that 6 of our last 9 defeats have been when he hasnt played.
Good ratings stoatey, probably fair, some maybe even -1 from there. It was just a total off day.
You are pretty much right about Colback too - of the last 10 he's missed we've won 2, drawn 3 and lost 5.
Funnily enough as much as he's not been pulling up many trees we've only lost once (Stoke) when Hodge has featured, so maybe we need to give him some more game time.
Totally agree with your comments and rankings Stoatey. In the past Marti has got the tactics and substitutions spot on. Not so this time, and we paid the consequences.

What I still incredulous was how much time and space we allowed Barry Bannon especially after we saw him take us apart in the 2nd half at Hillsborough.
The 34-year-old had 77 touches, 49 passes, won seven ground duels, and made one clearance, two interceptions and six tackles.
If we allow Morgan Whittaker and Bali Mumba the same time and space for Plymouth then we can expect another defeat. I'm looking forward to the game tho.
