The Lone Ranger title was woodork's if he won and he didn't let himself down, winning with West Brom to become the first ever two time Lone Ranger champion! It is actually the first time woodork has made it through the whole campaign since his first title in our debut season back in 2019/20 and the title comes after he was the first player knocked out last season! Well done woodork who only went to the top for the first time all season last week but finished the season with 5 wins in a row - his best streak of the season right when picking a team is at its hardest!
qprallan also won with West Brom to ensure he saw out all 33 games for the first ever time after falling 1 game short last season.
The player most at risk of being knocked out on the final day was MCM Hoop but he won with Nottingham Forest to complete all 33 matches for the FOURTH season in a row. Remarkable. 132 entries in a row and it will be 133 and counting on day 1 next season.
The only other player who could fail to see out the season was LurkR but he won comfortably with Stoke to complete a second season (also 21/22)
daveb had started the day 2nd hoping for woodork to slip up but daveb lost badly with Burnley and that enables myself and Ricardo Rangers who both won with Ipswich to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively. I also finished 2nd in 20/21 but have yet to take the title. Ricardo makes it through a full campaign for the first time in his second season whilst daveb ends up 5th but at least also completes the full season for the first time.
That just leaves Ghost who was top 2 weeks ago but Ghost ends the season with 2 defeats no thanks to Swansea and he completes the season but ends up 8th!

LurkR equalled CutePR's record from last season with just 4 defeats in 33 games. What cost LurkR was only winning 19 games - the lowest of any player left
The most wins in a single season remains 24, held by SydneyR - the most anybody achieved this season was 23 (woodork) who falls just short of equalling the record
The longest unbeaten run remains the 18 games undefeated that ranger-boy achieved in our first season and both LurkR and Jalfrezi Rs equalled this season, whilst NoahHoop managed it between this season and last.
The longest winning run remains 9 wins - achieved by qprallan this season and previously by SydneyR in 20/21 and both onenightfever and QPRBex in our debut season.
The most draws in a row remains 4 (me in 2020/21) and the most draws in a season is still 11 (ranger-boy in 19/20)
LurkR set a new record for an unbeaten start to the season with 16 games unbeaten at the start of this campaign, but the best start to a season is still SydneyR's 9 wins in a row from 2020/21
8 players completed the season which is a new record (it was 5 the last 2 seasons) and impressive given the first 2 seasons players lost only half a life for a draw compared to 1 now
MCM Hoop as mentioned has now completed 4 seasons in a row. Not only is that 4 in a row it is more seasons than anybody else has completed in total. I come next with 3 completed seasons but not consecuive. Only 5 other players have completed 2 seasons which illustrates how impressive that record of MCM Hoop is.
