Pre-season matches

This seasons pre season games will hopefully, give us more hope than the disastrous pre season of 2023/24 when it identified weaknesses in all areas of the squad.

Providing Marti is allowed to bring in more quality the first few pre season games will be about getting the squad fit and understanding the managers systems whilst building up to a test against better opposition in the last couple of friendlies.

Would be great if they could sort a friendly against Girona. They did very well this season.

Surely they must be doing a public game?

Marti clearly fancies a few days visiting family and friends. 

Lets hope that the local club that has just sacked there manager is not in the market for a new El Tel from west London.

It's unusual for us to play a home game 3 weeks before the season.

We usually only play the match 1 week before the season starts at home.

Spurs will be a good test, albeit it's quite soon after the Euros finish so probably won't include international players
