Euro 2024 Prediction Cup - The Final : Results

It was our first ever 3 person final as we trialled this new knockout format, now let's find out who took the Euro 2024 trophy between Ghost, kingfisher and MCM Hoop...
In Match 1 Ghost took an early advantage going for 2-1 Spain for 6 points. kingfisher got 3 predicting a Spain win, MCM Hoop went for a draw.
Ghost and MCM Hoop both had Olmo for a goal scorer back up point but nobody had the 0-15 goal time and all 3 players had Spain to score first which was incorrect!
In Match 2 it swung the other way as MCM Hoop went for 2-1 England whereas kingfisher and Ghost both went for a draw
Again nobody had the early goal time but kingfisher had Kane for a back up point whilst both MCM Hoop and Ghost had Netherlands to score first
It meant that kingfisher was 3rd with 4 points but both MCM Hoop and Ghost were tied on 8 points... so it goes to goal difference!
All the players went for a surprisingly low amount considering we had 27 bookings in the 4 games in the previous round. MCM Hoop went for 4, Ghost went for 6 and there were 10 bookings in the 2 matches and so Ghost was closer and is the Euro 2024 champion!
MCM Hoop kept sneaking through each round but couldn't quite sneak the end victory and it's a first ever cup win for Ghost! Ghost was the highest scorer across the tournament so had it gone to that Ghost would also have won.
Thank you to everybody who took part and it is just a few weeks off now and then the QPR Prediction League, Home & Away and The Lone Ranger will all be back for 2024/25!!
All that is left to say is congratulations to our Euro 2024 Champion Ghost !
