Here is the Hoops & Dreams QPR Season Preview for 2024/25
daveb and kingfisher join me to discuss pre-season performances, Marti Cifuentes' tactics, transfers, the state of the squad, the Championship in general, our QPR predictions and more
Dave and I will again do QPR Preview Shows for all the weekend matches as we did before but rather than Bryan doing a general chat show every few weeks he will instead be doing preview shows for the midweek games with George - so you should get a separate preview show for every League and cup game this season. Then Bryan will do some general QPR chat shows in the international breaks catching up on all things QPR. So it should be a better structure and clearer for everybody when shows are coming on YouTube!
If you can like our videos each time it makes a huge difference, thank you everybody for your support and enjoy the season!
Probably the wrong place to put this, but for the first time this season I will have a season ticket. So if anybody is at any games and fancies a meet up or anything then just give us a shout on here and we can sort something

Good a place as anywhere jrperry1882! I have been saying the same thing on and off but no offers yet. Let's try and do a pint!!
I enjoyed the podcast and the discussion on the new season.
As a club we are in transition from the top down and agree that we should feel a lot more positive compared to last season. The structure of the club since the departures of TF, Sir Les etc., now seems to be stabilising and for the first season in a long while everyone from the top down seems to be pulling in the same direction and that hopefully, means a more stable club.
Illias has been our main man for many seasons and when he was not producing then we looked to Chris Willock. Going forward our pre season form without either Chair or Willock has been blunt and we need to bring in somebody who can provide Celar or Frey with the chances they will need to score. We shouldn't be relying on one player but the quality of our squad has been poor in recent seasons and our recruitment has been abysmal.
I think we have a less experienced squad than last season but if we can regularly get our best eleven on the pitch then hopefully, this won't be such a nail biting time. What could change things and cause lots of issues for Marti is if JCS goes, whether Chair's injury is more serious than the club is letting on and how many games can we get out of Steve Cook.
My prediction is a middle to bottom half of table finish but out of the relegation battle.
In respect of Rayan Kolli I think he's one of our best prospects and he could well be our next No.10. What I don't understand at all is the abuse the young lad has been receiving on line from our own so called fans. Makes no sense and let's hope if he plays any part in Saturdays game that our home fans show their support for him.

I have not seen any of those comments and I agree with you stoatey that Kolli could be a major player! I have never understood some 'fans' who spend all their time criticising young players still finding their way. Our club relies upon them!

His Dad posted a message on Facebook about how he's been getting abuse on QPR's Instagram and Tik Tok pages. Apparently, there have been posts wishing him career ending injuries and other deeply hurtful stuff. I can't believe it would be QPR fans but who knows.

How sad. I know every club has 'fans' who the clubs would be happy to not have, but I always thought we had less of those than others? If those trolls could think logically then I would suggest them imagined themselves when they first started out at work and being subjected to constant verbal abuse from co-workers. That is the sort of abuse they are generating against a young lad with more talent in his trade then they probably will ever have in theirs!
