Welcome to Home & Away 2024/5. After one week it looks like it won't be any easier than 2023/24.
17 of us went for the banker home win with Leeds, but they only drew with Portsmouth. 13 of us picked Coventry to win at Stoke but they lost. 7 of us went for both of those and started the season with 0 points.
In among all of this ashqpr had the perfect week. He picked Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley for 2 wins and an aggregate score of 8-1. ashqpr stands alone at the top of the table on 3 points.
jimjams and moldyhoop also got the Sheffield Wednesday win for a point. The only other correct prediction for a home win was Middlesbrough, picked by wuggywoody.
There was more success with away wins. woodork and qprfcfromwhitecity also got Burnley's win at Luton. CutePR, loftussi and stoatey got Huddersfield's win at Peterborough. And 6 players got Sunderland's win at Cardiff: absolutecaulker, Jalfrezi Rs, kensalr, northwesthoop, Ricardo Rangers and SydneyR.
