Scenario here for you If things don’t improve soon Would QPR still sack Marti even on a long term deal Or let him take us down and hope he brings us Back up Problem with that is we could linger in league one like Charlton for years
We aren't going down.
We will get JCS and Colback back and improve. Other players will settle. Marti will adjust things.
We are in a bad patch, no doubt, but look at Coventry and Luton just above us. Anybody can have a tricky spell, this is ours.
My issue is that after so many signings we shouldn't be so reliant on 1 or 2 players. That is poor.
Also not signing Hayden was an epic error. Yes he has no sell on value, but we have EDB on a new deal when he's clearly not fancied. We should have let EDB go and put that money towards Hayden.
Hayden has no sell on value but what he does is improve the team and improve the players you can sell. Go through history you always need a solid workhorse in your team, That promotion team under Warnock is nothing without Derry
Not signing him was a massive mistake imo, we're a mess in midfield without him

Exactly, he makes the players around him better, and if the club perform better it increases interest in all the players.
It was a no brainer to sign him and I imagine we potentially will in January anyway, especially if we are still stuggling, which will only highlight what a poor decision it was in the summer.
I am not sure this video makes me feel any better or just more annoyed, but at the time Derby scored the header I immediately thought it should have been disallowed! Their player is in an offside position and, although he does not have contact with the ball, he does impede the view of Nardi (which I felt was the intention). The ref probably could not see past all the players gathered in the area, but the Assistant Referee should have! www.skysports.com/watch/video/13230733/behind-the-whistle-should-derbys-goal-have-been-offside
