Week 8 was the lowest scoring week so far this season with no-one predicting 2 wins, 13 predicting 1, 13 getting none and qprfcfromwhitecity missing his first week this season.
The main reason for the low scoring was that none of 10 matches ended in an away win. On top of this, some of the popular home predictions didn't come off. 6 had Villa to beat Man Utd (they drew), 4 had Portsmouth to beat Oxford (they drew) and 3 had Swansea to beat Stoke (they also drew).
Brentford's win over Wolves was correctly predicted by QPRBex, ranger-boy, stoatey & woodork. NoahHoop, Jalfrezi Rs, absolutecaulker & I got Sheff Utd's win over Luton. jimjams, kensalr & loftussi got Norwich's win over Hull. moldyhoop & singlespeed got Watford's win over Middlesbrough.
In spite of the low scoring, we had changes at both the top & the bottom of the table.
ashqpr has been caught at the top. woodork is the new leader on goal difference from stoatey, Jalfrezi Rs and ashqpr. It's very close with the top 12 separated by 2 points.
I have moved off the bottom. My 4th 1-point week in a row moves me ahead of CutePR on goal difference. singlespeed is the 3rd player on 5 points. It's very close at the bottom too, with the bottom 13 separated by 2 points.
There is a week off next week for the international break. I will be away for a week or so after that so there will be no updates for a while. But do keep entering and I'll catch up with the scoring when I get back.
This game looks easy But you have to be a genius to get 2 results every week Ghost your a top man keeping us entertained with this game It gets more interesting every time we attempt to get a home and away result

Thanks everyone. This game looks so easy but it trips most of us up every week. No-one has managed any sort of run yet this season. Last year moldyhoop ran away with the league and there’s still plenty of time for someone to do that this season.
