QPR Kit World Cup
Here comes some summer fun whilst we wait for the new season and to promote our new QPR forum – the QPR Kit World Cup will go live tomorrow (29 June 2017)!
You may have seen Polls on Twitter – this will work the same but in the QPR Features section of our Forum. Please spread the word, this will be fun for any QPR fan.
If you are reading this as a guest you will need to register to vote; it takes literally 2 minutes (if that) and means you can then vote all throughout the competition in the later rounds and share in the fun and debate the choices!
Each kit we have had in the past 40 seasons (with the exception of some duplicates – see NB below) has been given a number and drawn at random into 13 groups using random.org sequence generator.
There will be some shocks and surprises as we go through as the random draw throughout will mean some classics won’t make it as far as you may think if they are drawn together – like a real world cup!
But we will end up with the best QPR kit of the past 40 seasons from 1978 to 2016/17, as voted for by you!
The kits that get no votes in the first round – and there will be quite a few! – will then take part in a further QPR Kit World Cup to find the Worst QPR kit of all time to follow in a few weeks time!
The format:
• As mentioned we start with 13 groups each containing 6 kits for you to choose your favourite in each group
• The Top 2 from each group will go through to the next round, along with the 6 3rd placed kits with the most votes
• We will be left with 8 groups each containing 4 kits in Round 2 – 32 teams left like a proper World Cup
• The top 2 go through to the round of 16 which will be 8 head to head votes
• Followed by further head to head quarter finals, semi finals and the final itself
Each round of voting in the competition will last for 1 week to give everybody a chance to get online and vote
As you vote in each Group let us know your reasoning and feelings behind your choices!
Thank you reading and hopefully you will enjoy taking part once we go live tomorrow!

NB: There were some kits that have not been included because they were the same kit just with a different sponsor logo and we are voting for the kit itself.
Those kits are:
78-82 Away kit same as 82/83 away kit but different QPR badge
86/87 home and away – same kits just different sponsor (Blue*Star)
92/93 Classic FM Home and Away as same as 91/92 ‘Brooks’ kits
96/97 Home kit same as previous just different sponsor (Ericsson)
