Have to give Holloway a lot of credit really, he has played Smyth and Oteh both ahead of Sylla in the recent games in which they starred. It would have been easy for him to play Sylla as the standard first team player.
He also gave Chair a chance in December ahead of Ngbakoto obviously knowing Ngbakoto was likely to leave.
I think the club as a whole is trying to move towards being a breeding ground for youngsters - 'come to QPR and you will get a chance to play'. 'Prove you are great and we won't stand in your way of a big move'. A bit like how we were in the early 90's.
I believe the children are our future Teach them well and and let them lead the way
As long as it is not into the desert (of non-League footer) @singlespeed!
On a more serious note, I do feel it has been a huge gamble for Ollie to use the Young Bloods in preference to those who have played all season in the Championship. It is one thing to shine in training or U23s, and quite another thing to cope with the relentless pace and toughness of the Championship. It could all have gone terribly wrong for both the players and the club. Instead it has allowed them all so far to shine. Not one has failed. Furthermore, for some reason I cannot fathom, it seems to have injected extra quality into the existing strikers... Nobody has ever called Ollie 'safe' but these were brave decisions even for him!

Definitely kingfisher he was brave with some of the calls. Especially playing Smyth against Cardiff. After a few games without a win he was facing a lot of calls for him to go had we lost that match at home but his brave call was justified and rewarded.
Linking to the Fine Margins Thread it just goes to show that now we have back to back wins and are 14th, whereas 2 weeks ago people wanted Holloway gone. Football in the modern era is a strange old game.
So I'm giving Holloway the stroke of genius given the circumstances!

I hope we have all noticed that QPR are undefeated in 2018!
