Niko Muir, a striker who has scored 30 goals for Hendon this season, is having a trial with QPR. Muir, 24, is in his second spell with the Greens. He has also played for a number of other non-League sides, including Northwood, Grays Athletic, Wingate & Finchley, VCD Athletic and Leiston.
could be the next Jamie vardy 🤔 I think the words, scraping bottom and barrel come to mind My son scored 30 odd goals for his school team let's have a look at him hey
Ray Jones was found playing football in the park with his friends. I think we would all have him back any day
charlie Austin was a labourer
Vardy was a postman??
Sir Les - Hayes FC
they all had their chance and took it. Why not give him a go, we have nothing to lose. Would rather cheer him on to the pitch and give him a fair crack.

I think that is a fair approach - others have made the continual required step-ups in quality, stamina and pace to maintain their successful career. I guess Brentford have a stat for the number of strikers signed versus the number deemed successful! QPR are obviously looking to gather raw talent that they can develop and provide that talent with better passes/challenges. At the end of the day it is up to the individual to improve, but the clubs and their supporters can play their part as well.
Some people forget we used to survive by finding talent in lower leagues and selling them on, we are where we are financially and we need to do something to keep players coming in to replace those that we can either sell for a profit or don't cut the mustard, we are a selling club again so I am all for giving lower league prospects a go.
QPR scouts are set to take another look at Niko Muir as they attend Hendon's match this afternoon. The forward has recently been on trial with the Hoops, who are keen to take another look at him after his trial came to an end. Muir finished his trial with the Rs on Wednesday after featuring in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Chelsea. It's thought that the forward did well on his trial, but the club are making a decision on whether the 24-year-old is ready to step into the QPR first team squad
